Pet Friendly Hotels Denver Colorado
Traveling with a pet can be tough, as many hotels don't allow animals, or only allow very small dogs and cats. However, in the Denver area, there are a ton of great hotels that will allow any pets, as long as you use some common sense and stay courteous.
Before traveling to a Denver pet friendly hotel, be sure to prepare your animal. If you've got a dog, keeping it from making a mess can be difficult. Be ready to take it out frequently, if possible, much more frequently than you would at home. Never leave an animal in a hotel room for more than a few hours if you can avoid it. The animal may get anxious, and could chew up anything in the room. Keep your dog or cat crated if you're going to be leaving for the day, and make sure that it has room to move around, a small amount of fresh water, and toys to chew. Some dogs will begin to whine in new areas. This can be hard to prevent, but you'll stand a better chance if you keep the dog entertained. If your dog has a special preference for a certain toy or plush animal, it's very important to bring this item along with you.(read more)
