Caribbean Airlines was incorporated in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in 2006. In 2011 they acquired Air Jamaica, making them the largest carrier in the Caribbean. They currently offer flights throughout the Caribbean, to select cities in North America and South America, and offer a dedicated route to London's Gatwick Airport.
Caribbean Airlines will not accept animals of any kind in the passenger cabins of their aircraft. They will allow certified service dogs to travel in-cabin with proper documentation, but only with prior approval and only on approved routes. They also do not specify whether or not they will accept animals as checked baggage. They do, however, have a Live Animal transport program that can accommodate almost any type of animal travelling as manifest cargo. Shipping of live animals should be arranged through Caribbean Airlines Cargo.
Given Caribbean Airlines policies of not accepting animals for travel either in the cabin or as checked baggage, manifest cargo may be your only option. Please contact Caribbean Airlines Cargo to discuss what options may be available to you.
Pets may not be accepted on flights operated by codeshare partners. It is strongly recommended that you contact any codeshare partners, or other airlines you may be travelling with, to familiarize yourself with their individual policies regarding pet travel.
